Enjoy The Golden Moments At The Heart
Si-o-Seh Pol, also known as Allahverdi Khan Bridge, is a stunning architectural masterpiece from the Safavid era. It was commissioned by Shah Abbas I and overseen by military commander Allahverdi Khan Undiladze in 1608 CE. The bridge's architectural design is credited to Ustad Hossein Bena Isfahani, a renowned architect. Positioned along a central axis in Isfahan, it connects Chahar Bagh Abbasi to other districts. Initially, it had 40 arches, but some became obsolete due to tree planting and water diversion. In 1951, surrounding lands were cleared, and water channels reopened. A stone wall on the northern side is still visible today. Si-o-Seh Pol is a testament to its historical significance, architectural splendor, and enduring legacy.
